The family expanded lawful outreach to attorneys, appellate and criminal-defense organizations, civil-rights and constitutional advocacy organizations, legal clinics, faith and community leaders, public officials, journalists, and investigators, requesting review, referral, representation, or amicus consideration. Contact does not equal endorsement: no organization or individual is a supporter, participant, or representative merely because it was contacted.

Habeas Corpus petition filed
Christopher Woody filed a pro se petition for writ of habeas corpus in the South Carolina Supreme Court. The family is asking the public to support prompt, transparent, and conflict-free constitutional review of the sworn jury-room intrusion allegation.
